01 / Career

From building businesses
to shaping partnerships.

My career brings together entrepreneurship, communications and public service.

From business development and founding Africab to my role in the Prime Minister’s Office, these experiences inform my work on partnerships and private sector development.

Biography

I am Vang’sy GOMA KANY, Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of the Congo and Head of Public–Private Partnerships and Private Sector Promotion. I work with government, investors and businesses to identify opportunities, strengthen public–private dialogue and promote the Congo’s economic potential.

My career spans more than fifteen years in business development, entrepreneurship, marketing and communications. I began at Fondation Congo Assistance, working with a team dedicated to empowering women and supporting children. I then moved into the energy and infrastructure sectors, with roles at SNPC and MBTP.

In 2015, I founded Africab and led the company until 2018. Based in Abidjan, the mobility business brought together digital technology, service quality, driver training and commercial development. I subsequently led development, marketing and communications at Congo Bet before joining the Prime Minister’s Office in April 2022.

I graduated from Sciences Po after completing the Executive Master in Communications Management in 2020–2021. This training complements my operational experience in strategy, negotiation and communications. My work at Bisso Agency extends that experience to brands, institutions and destinations across Africa.

In 2016, I received the MTN Young CEO award, CIMA’s Young African Leader award and the Entrepreneurship award at the Prix Jeunesse de la Francophonie 35<35. I was included in the Choiseul 100 Africa Top 200 selection in both 2024 and 2025. In 2026, I received the Power House Excellence Award, presented at the French National Assembly.

Sport, travel and cultural discovery also play an important part in my life. I support sporting initiatives and the development of Congolese talent. This has included contributing to media support for the launch of Académie Alima, founded by Blaise Matuidi in the Republic of the Congo.
